Coffee, shopping and books in one area
A relaxed Villa Morra afternoon: coffee, browsing and books
Checked 15 October 2026
Start with coffee on Lillo, choose one thing to browse at Shopping Villa Morra, then finish with books at Mariscal. The three stops keep the outing in one shopping area, with about 1.2 km of street walking. Here, Villa Morra means the familiar wider commercial area; the named stops and maps matter more than a barrio label. Our neighborhood guide explains those boundaries. You can also shorten this to one indoor destination if the weather changes.
A simple afternoon schedule
- 14:30: start at Medialunas Calentitas, Lillo Central, Eusebio Lillo Robles 1418. Confirm the day's opening and a table first; allow 45–60 minutes.
- Around 15:45: Shopping Villa Morra. Browse one chosen category or shop for 30–45 minutes, rather than attempting every floor.
- Around 16:30: Mariscal, Quesada 5050. Find Books on the ground floor of Block A; leave 30–45 minutes for browsing.
- Finish around 17:00–17:30, or add a short coffee at Café Martínez in the same block if its seating and hours suit you.
- Allow roughly 2½–3 hours for the core plan, plus 30–45 minutes for an optional final drink. Walking estimates exclude time inside the malls.

Start at Lillo Central, not an Express branch
Use Medialunas Calentitas, Eusebio Lillo Robles 1418. Its official Paraguay site labels this branch Lillo Central and publishes 07:00–22:00. It does not attach a weekly calendar to that listing: confirm your chosen day, holidays and table availability before setting out. Other Express branches on the site are described as delivery and takeaway; they are different plans.
Order the drink and snack you actually want. The site listed traditional medialunas at Gs. 7,000 on 15 October 2026; confirm portion, branch price and drinks separately. This is not a priced coffee package. For a fuller morning meal, compare the breakfast and brunch guide.
Shopping Villa Morra: choose one browsing task
Walk to Av. Mariscal López 3974 at Senador Long. Choose a category before arriving: a travel essential, a gift or clothing to try on. Use the mall's directory to pick an actual shop, then give that browse 30–45 minutes. Buying is optional; check stock directly if a particular item is the reason for the visit.
The official contact page lists shops Monday–Saturday 09:00–21:00 and Sundays/holidays 11:00–21:00. Dining and cinema have separate schedules. This plan uses the shops and does not include a film. Our mall guide covers those other options; the Villa Morra neighborhood guide explains the surrounding area.

Finish with Books at Mariscal
Continue to Shopping Mariscal, Quesada 5050 between Charles de Gaulle and Teniente Zotti. Its official tenant page places Books on the ground floor of Block A. Ask for titles about Paraguay, local authors or a book in your preferred language; the directory confirms the shop, not the day's stock. Give yourself time to browse without promising a particular purchase.
Mariscal publishes shop hours of Monday–Saturday 09:00–21:00 and Sunday 10:00–21:00. Check the tenant for exceptions. Café Martínez is also listed on Block A’s ground floor if you need another pause, but its own hours and menu require a separate check.
Two walking legs, with time for crossings
The checked Lillo–Villa Morra walking route is about 1 km, with Google's fastest estimate around 13 minutes. Allow 20–30 minutes for crossings, pauses and finding the entrance. Villa Morra–Mariscal is about 190 m, with a three-minute map estimate; leave 5–10 minutes. These are dated map estimates, not an on-site timed walk.
Follow permitted crossings and current signs. The route has not been surveyed for continuous step-free access or shade, and the malls are separate destinations. Confirm the needed entrance, lifts and indoor seating if those determine your visit. Save a precise return pickup point and use our transport guide for arrival options.
Indoor fallback: stay with one mall and one block
For heat or rain, skip the kilometre from Lillo and start at Mariscal. Use Books and a confirmed indoor table at Café Martínez in Block A, after checking the café's opening and seating. Ask staff for the indoor route between them. This avoids making a second mall or an outdoor dining area essential; it does not guarantee every entrance or passage is covered.
If conditions make even the arrival unsuitable, check official weather alerts and postpone the outdoor sections. If the first café is closed or full, switch to the confirmed Mariscal plan rather than adding an unverified café transfer.
Keep the afternoon useful and affordable
For residents, these stops can be ordinary errands: a café break, an item to replace and a book browse. Start with the purchase or shop you actually need, then decide whether the extra walk is worthwhile. You do not need to buy at every stop.
Add food, transport and any parking charge to the item price. Current parking fees and validation rules were not confirmed for this guide. Ask about returns and keep the receipt if you buy something. For a shorter visit, stay with one mall; for a café-only stop, compare the separate café guide.
Recovery follow-up, 27 October 2026: Medialunas Calentitas still lists Lillo Central at Eusebio Lillo Robles 1418, a 07:00–22:00 opening window and traditional medialunas at ₲7,000. Mariscal still places Books on Block A’s ground floor. Confirm the date, tenant hours, stock and seating; the walking figures remain dated map estimates.
