Making new friends as an adult is hard, even in your own city. We make it easy: in-person plans every week with Paraguayans and people from everywhere else, all set up in one WhatsApp group.

Born here or just landed.
The mix is the point: Paraguayans, people from abroad and people passing through, at one table.
You grew up here.
Your friends are the same crew from colegio, and you'd like a few new faces. Bring what you know: the best chipa, the shortcut around Mariscal López traffic, the right answer to Cerro or Olimpia (we won't judge. Much.)
You just got here.
You've got a SIM, a rental and nobody to text. Come as you are, ask the questions you think are obvious, and leave with people to try the next place with.
02 · Somos La Ronda
Everyone gets a turn.
In a tereré ronda the guampa goes around the circle, and nobody gets skipped. Same here. Suggest the restaurant, teach the game, bring a friend, or turn up ready to try whatever's happening.
Nobody needs to have the whole city figured out. Bring an idea when you have one, and give someone else's a go.

What happens in WhatsApp?
We introduce ourselves, share plans worth doing, ask practical questions and organize.
An invitation works best when it gives people something concrete to say yes to: what, when, where, and what it costs. You don't need to organize a major event. Start with something you'd enjoy.

A few useful answers.
I've just arrived and don't know anyone. Can I come?
Yes. You don't need an invitation or a friend to bring along. Check the meetup details, say in the group that you're coming, and meet us there.
I already live here. Is this for me too?
Yes, and we hope you come. The group works best when Paraguayans and people from abroad show up in equal numbers.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes, unless a plan lists a space or booking limit. Tell the host so they can plan the headcount.
What should I say when I join?
Your name and what you're into: food, football, photography, live music, games, whatever you'd enjoy doing with other people.
Do I need to speak a particular language?
Use the language you're comfortable with. The chat runs in English and Spanish, and Spanglish is welcome. Help people follow along when you can, and give them time to find the words.
Can I join for a short visit?
Yes. Join a plan while you're here.
How often are the meetups?
What does a meetup cost?
No meetup fee. Each plan says what you'll pay for yourself, like your own dinner or a ticket.
Can I organize something?
Yes. Share the activity, time, place and cost, and say whether you're hosting or checking for interest.
Can I ask practical questions?
Yes. Ask clearly, include the details that matter, and share the answer if you figure it out. Our practical guides cover the common ones.
06 · Ground rules
Short list. Real rules.
- 👋Include people.Say hello, make introductions, and help someone join the activity.
- 🤝Be respectful.Give others room to take part and respect their boundaries.
- ✉️Ask before messaging privately.Being in the same group doesn't mean someone wants a direct message.
- 📌Share useful invitations.Include the details and whether you're going. Skip repeated promotions and unexplained flyer drops.
- 🚫Keep business pitches out.Don't advertise services or approach members as clients. Disclose any business connection when you answer a recommendation request.
- 📸Ask before sharing photos or messages.Get permission before posting identifiable photos or taking someone's messages and details outside the group.
- 🔄Update your plans.If you're hosting or someone's expecting you, tell them when something changes.
