These terms cover your use of openasu.com and the Open Asu community groups. By using the site or joining a group, you agree to them. "We" means the people who run Open Asu.

What Open Asu is

Open Asu is a WhatsApp community with in-person plans every week, where Paraguayans and people from everywhere else make new friends. We share plans, meetups and guides to the city. Open Asu is a volunteer-run community, not a travel agency, tour operator, school or professional service.

Information on this site

We write our guides to be useful and we link our sources, but prices, schedules, laws and rules change. Everything on this site is general information. It is not legal, immigration, tax, medical or financial advice. Check the official source, or ask a qualified professional, before you make a decision that matters.

We may update, correct or remove any content at any time.

Meetups and events

Meetups and events listed on this site or shared in our groups are open, informal gatherings, and many are organized by other people or venues. You take part at your own risk and you are responsible for your own safety, belongings, spending and travel. Use your judgment when meeting people you don't know, as you would anywhere. Venues and organizers set their own prices and rules.

Community conduct

Our groups follow the community guidelines. Be respectful, keep it legal, and don't spam, harass or sell to members without permission. Admins can remove messages or members who break the guidelines, at their discretion.

WhatsApp's and Telegram's own terms also apply when you use those apps.

Links to other sites

We link generously to venues, groups, events, businesses and official sources. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, prices or services. A link is not an endorsement.

Our content

The text and design of this site belong to Open Asu. You're welcome to share links to our pages and quote short passages with a link back. Photos belong to their creators and are used under the licenses credited under each image.

No warranty and limitation of liability

The site and the community are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Open Asu and the people who run it are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, your reliance on its information, or your participation in any meetup, event or group.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Paraguay.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
