Laundry in Asunción: self-service, by the kilo or pickup

Need clean clothes in Asunción? First choose how much of the job you want to do yourself. A self-service machine charges by the cycle, a staffed laundry can charge by the kilo, and pickup adds a separate question: will they collect from your address, and at what total price?

Per cycle and per kilo: compare the whole job

Self-service means you load the washer, choose a cycle and move the clothes to the dryer. At WashBox’s listed single-cycle prices, one wash plus one dry totals ₲60,000. Its published combined machine time is about 75 minutes, before any wait for a free machine.

By the kilo means the price follows the weight and the service included. At Lavafácil’s listed rate, 3 kg would be ₲60,000 for washing, drying and folding, before any separately quoted service. That arithmetic is only an illustration; ask how the laundry weighs and rounds a load, and whether there is a minimum charge. Ironing is separate.

A nominal 10 kg machine capacity does not make every bag one suitable load. Colors, care labels and bulky items may require different treatment or extra cycles. For a small bag, a delicate garment or bedding, get the price for those actual items rather than comparing only the headline rate.

WashBox: self-service in Asunción and Lambaré

The official single-cycle prices are ₲30,000 to wash and ₲30,000 to dry, with detergent and fragrance dispensed automatically. The site lists Bancard and PIX digital payment and says it does not accept cash. Check that your payment method works before loading the machine.

WashBox lists daily hours of 07:00–23:00 for all three branches and advises starting the last wash-and-dry session before 21:40. Its approximate cycle times are 35 minutes for washing and 40 for drying. Leave extra time if machines are occupied.

Choose the location that actually fits your route

• Plaza Nova, Asunción: on Av. Molas López. Provider’s Plaza Nova map link.
• Mall Excelsior, Asunción: basement level 1. Provider’s Mall Excelsior map link.
• Shopping Century Plaza, Lambaré: basement level 1. This branch is in Greater Asunción, outside Asunción city. Provider’s Century Plaza map link.

The official branch section supplies these shopping-center map searches. Check the laundry’s location inside the building on arrival. WashBox’s FAQ excludes king-size textiles, shoes and pet clothing; ask before bringing other bulky or special-care items. Pickup service was not verified for WashBox.

Lavafácil: laundry by the kilo near Shopping del Sol

Lavafácil lists its address as San Juan XXIII 1818, Asunción, near Shopping del Sol. Its published hours are Monday–Friday 07:00–19:00 and Saturday 07:00–12:00. Open the provider’s address map.

The published kilogram service costs ₲20,000/kg with drying and folding. Everyday-garment ironing is listed separately at ₲3,500 per item; bedding and special garments have their own prices. Ask which tariff applies to anything outside a normal bag of everyday clothes.

The homepage promotes 24-hour service, while the FAQ says the usual return time is 24–48 hours depending on volume and garment type. Urgent service is subject to availability. Confirm a specific collection day and time, especially if you need the clothes before a trip.

We could not verify payment methods, a minimum weight or pickup conditions from the public page. Ask before dropping off; do not assume a particular card is accepted or that collection is included.

Breeze & Co.: arrange pickup or choose a branch

Breeze & Co. offers laundry by the kilo, dry cleaning, ironing and specialized care. Its official site also advertises arranged pickup and delivery in Asunción. It does not publish a numeric price list, delivery fee or turnaround on the page checked, so request a complete quote for your clothes and address.

The official branch section lists three Asunción locations:

• Centro: Monday–Friday 08:00–13:00 and 14:00–18:00; Saturday 09:00–12:00. Provider’s Centro map link.
• Avda. Denis Roa: Monday–Friday 08:00–18:00; Saturday 08:00–12:00. Provider’s Denis Roa map link.
• Avda. Julio Correa: Monday–Friday 08:00–18:00; Saturday 08:00–12:00. Provider’s Julio Correa map link.

The site does not give street numbers for these branches. Use its location buttons and confirm the exact address before traveling. The location links come from the providers’ own pages. Breeze’s links open its Google business listings; WashBox’s links open the shopping-center maps.

For pickup, ask whether your address is covered, whether collection and return are both included, and how the handover works in your building. “Delivery in Asunción” should not be read as a confirmed service for every address in Greater Asunción.

Five things to confirm before handing over your clothes

1. The total: weight or item count, minimum charge, ironing, special treatment and any pickup or delivery fee.
2. The finish: washed only, washed and dried, folded, or ironed. Point out stains and follow the care label.
3. The deadline: an agreed return date and time, rather than a general “same-day” or “24-hour” headline.
4. The payment: accepted methods and whether you pay at drop-off, collection or online.
5. The handover: keep the receipt or order reference, check the item count and explain any fragrance sensitivity or garment-specific instructions before service starts.

If you plan to get a coffee while a machine runs, follow the branch’s rules about leaving, set a timer and be back to move or collect your load. The neighborhood guide can help you place the errand in your day; the Villa Morra guide has nearby food and coffee ideas when that area suits your route.
